    Abstract: Le développement du droit international nucléaire lors des 50 dernières années s’est concentré sur la protection des personnes et des biens. La protection de l’environnement n’a été considérée que de manière occasionnelle, et les conventions internationales relatives à la responsabilité civile nucléaire illustrent amplement cette dimension. Sous le régime de la Convention de Paris de 1960 sur la responsabilité civile dans le domaine de l’énergie nucléaire et de la Convention de Vienne de 1963 relative à la responsabilité civile en matière de dommages nucléaires, la notion de dommage nucléaire recouvre le dommage aux personnes physiques et le dommage aux biens causés par un incident nucléaire. Ces conventions ne font pas référence aux atteintes à l’environnement.

    Abstract: Le premier amendement modifie le financement des activités de l’Agence fédérale de contrôle nucléaire (AFCN) dans la mesure où une partie des frais de fonctionnement est transformée en ressource d’origine fiscale. En plus de ces ressources fiscales, des frais de fonctionnement et des amendes administratives, le financement peut s’opérer par le biais de donations, de legs et d’autres modes de financement.

Mme Keen remettait en cause la légalité du décret la congédiant de son poste de présidente. La Cour a rejeté la demande2 et conclu que la décision était légitime.

For three days in June 2004 Shakespeare's Globe presented their production of Romeo and Juliet in original, Shakespearian pronunciation. This book tells the story of how it happened ... In an unusual blend of autobiography, narrative, and academic content, reflecting the unique nature of the experience, David Crystal recounts the first attempt in over fifty years to mount a Full-length Shakespeare play in original pronunciation. The story begins by introducing the Globe theatre and its approach to 'original practices', which had dealt with all aspects of Elizabethan Stagecraft--except pronunciation. It traces the way the idea developed, from the initial proposal in 2003 through planning and rehearsals to the full-scale production in 2004. A large section is devoted to the nature of the Early Modern English sound system and the evidence for it.     Abstract: Dynamics of Multibody Systems, 3rd Edition, first published in 2005, introduces multibody dynamics, with an emphasis on flexible body dynamics. Many common mechanisms such as automobiles, space structures, robots and micromachines have mechanical and structural systems that consist of interconnected rigid and deformable components. Le présent rapport a pour objet de décrire l'éventail des problèmes qui risquent de se poser pendant ces opérations, qu'il s'agisse de sûreté, d'environnement, d'organisation, de facteurs humains ou de politique publique, et que l'autorité de sûreté doit se préparer à résoudre dans le cadre de son dispositif réglementaire général. Il s'adresse en premier lieu aux autorités de sûreté, sachant que les informations et idées qu'il contient peuvent également intéresser les autorités publiques et environnementales, les exploitants nucléaires, les organismes techniques et le grand public.

Depuis le début des travaux de révision, lancés en 1999 par la CIPR, le Comité de protection radiologique et de santé publique (CRPPH) de l’AEN organise des débats destinés à mettre en lumière les améliorations et changements qui pourraient être apportés aux anciennes recommandations afin que les nouvelles soient plus fonctionnelles. Ce rapport, qui s’appuie sur une étude préliminaire de deux ans, propose des améliorations spécifiques qui faciliteraient la compréhension et l’application du système et qui devraient être considérées lors de la rédaction des nouvelles recommandations de la CIPR.

    Abstract: This volume provides a theoretical framework for some of the most important play writing in Britain in the second half of the twentieth century. Examining representative plays by Arnold Wesker, John Arden, Trevor Griffiths, Howard Barker, Howard Brenton, Edward Bond, David Hare, John McGrath and Caryl Churchill, the author analyses their respective strategies for persuading audiences of the need for a radical restructuring of society. The book begins with a discussion of the way that theatre has been used to convey a political message. Each chapter is then devoted to an exploration of the engagement of individual playwrights with left-wing political theatre, including a detailed analysis of one of their major plays. Despite political change since the 1980s, political playwriting continues to be a significant element in contemporary playwriting, but in a very changed form.--Publisher description; 1900 - 1999

In practice, China is considered, by the measure of most Western countries, to have a patchy record of protecting individuals' human rights. In the theoretical realm, Chinese intellectuals and government officials have challenged the idea that the term "human rights" can be universally understood in one single way and have often opposed attempts by Western countries to impose international standards on Asian countries." "What should we make of these challenges - and of claims by members of other groups to have moralities of their own? Human Rights and Chinese Thought gives an extended answer to these questions in the first study of its kind. Stephen C. Angle integrates a full account of the development of Chinese rights discourse - reaching back to important, although neglected, origins of that discourse in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Confucianism - with philosophical considerations of how various communities should respond to contemporary Chinese claims about the uniqueness of their human rights concepts." "Drawing on Western thinkers such as Richard Rorty, Alasdair MacIntyre, Michael Walzer, Allan Gibbard, and Robert Brandom, Angle elaborates a plausible kind of moral pluralism and demonstrates that Chinese ideas of human rights do indeed have distinctive characteristics.     Abstract: "In this study, Nancy Henry introduces a new set of facts that place George Eliot's life and work within the contexts of mid nineteenth-century British colonialism and imperialism. Henry examines Eliot's roles as an investor in colonial stocks, a parent to emigrant sons, and a reader of colonial literature. She highlights the importance of these contexts to our understanding of both Eliot's fiction and her situation within Victorian culture. Henry argues that Eliot's decision to represent the empire only as it infiltrated the imaginations and domestic lives of her characters illuminates the nature of her realism. The book also re-examines the assumptions of post-colonial criticism about Victorian fiction and its relation to empire."--Jacket
