    Kurzfassung: The film shows four Saxon folk dances (Ländler, country waltz; Spinnradel, spinning wheel; Tätscher, patting dance; Walzer, waltz) from the parish Großau on the Zibin, performed by eight young couples in the yard of the old parish school. The musical accompaniment is given by the parish orchester with accordion, flügel horn, bass flügel horn, clarinet and prercussion instruments.

    Kurzfassung: Vor einem Elefantenzahnorchester mit Trommeln ahmt der Nachfahre eines Berufskriegers tanzend und singend verschiedene Kampfsituationen nach. Er wird von drei Frauen, einem Glockenläuter, einem Blattwedler und einem Bläser umtanzt. Von einer weiteren Frau verspottet, tanzt er lebhafter.
    Kurzfassung: For various activities, the Dan have groups of singers and musicians, whose playing is supposed to impart special qualities: strength for the bushclearers, majestic deportment for the chieftain, courage for the warrior. Here, an orchestra of seven elephant tusks and five drums incites the fighting-spirit of the village's greatest warrior, who, in dance form, demonstrates several battle situations.

    Kurzfassung: The sanza-player Gba Gegba plays his instrument and sings for entertainment and for dancing 'to be rewarded with gifts', but formerly also 'to make the men strong for battle'. His texts consist of proverbs, allusions to the village girls, appeals to his forefathers or to the river sacred to his village.
