Abstract:
The film shows the dances Pe sub mina (around the hand) and Invirtita (turning dance) from the village Vestem (Sibiu district). Pe sub mina is danced by pairs scattered freely around the room. The man holds the left hand of the woman at shoulder level in his right hand. The tempo is moderate. Invirtita is danced in groups of three (one man, two women) or four (two women, two men). The dancers hold each other by the shoulders. The tempo is moderate. A clarinetist accompanies the dance.
