The musician Hassan Tjari, a Daza, plays the fiddle finini. He holds the instrument between his right knee squared and his foot. With his right hand he moves the bow, with the left he strikes the single string of the finini. The instrumental music, however, is only accompaniment to the song which is the main presentation. The musician sings, in Daza, a song in praise of the Sultan of Mao.
