Abstract:
Frisch beschnittene Mädchen üben vor dem Beschneidungslager mit bändergeschmückten Stühlchen Tänze ein. Die Betreuerinnen und später auch die Mädchen singen im Chor. Sie werden von einem Trommler begleitet.
Abstract:
When the girls of the Gere (Kran) enter the excision camp they borrow low chairs from their grandfathers, for after the operation they cannot sit down, but must kneel on these chairs. When they have recovered they create dances with the little chairs, to perform in their village on the day of their release.
