    Abstract: Die Professionalisierung des Gebärdensprachdolmetschens ist ein kontingenter, fortdauernder und kompetitiver Prozess, bei dem Grenzziehungsarbeit eine zentrale Rolle spielt. Nadja Grbic rekonstruiert in ihrer theoretisch fundierten Untersuchung dessen Entwicklung in Österreich seit dem 19. Jahrhundert, zeigt institutionelle Bedingungen der Professionalisierung auf und gibt Einsichten in Wahrnehmungsmuster, Handlungslogiken und Entscheidungsprozesse der Akteur*innen. Damit entwirft sie einen alternativen Erklärungsrahmen zu Fortschrittsmodellen, der über den Fall des Gebärdensprachdolmetschens hinaus eine differenzierte Betrachtung der Vielgestaltigkeit translatorischer Tätigkeiten ermöglicht.

    Abstract: Die Wikipedia präsentiert das Wissen der Welt im digitalen Zeitalter. Damit stellt sie sich in eine Linie mit den Aufklärern des 18. Jahrhunderts - und quer zu den irrationalen Exzessen digitaler Filterblasen. Aber wie sehen die Produktionsbedingungen dieses Wissens in der Praxis aus und nach welchen Kriterien wird »wahres« von »falschem« Wissen unterschieden? Olaf Rahmstorf diagnostiziert aus einer wissenssoziologischen Perspektive einen verkürzenden Formalismus, der sich vor inhaltliche Argumentation schiebt.     Abstract: Alles, was sich zwischen Menschen vollzieht, ist performativ wirksam und kann daraufhin überprüft und (um-)gestaltet werden. Die Wechselwirkungen zwischen der Performativität akademischer und gesellschaftlicher Wirklichkeiten bleiben jedoch häufig unterreflektiert. Anna Suchard zeigt, dass sich insbesondere zwischen den impliziten Normativitäten des zunehmend linearisierend agierenden Hochschulbetriebs und gesellschaftlich formulierten Zielen enorme Widersprüche bilden. Ihre dramaturgische Analyse, wie die konkrete Herstellung dieser Wirklichkeiten geschieht, lässt die Widersprüche sichtbar und verhandelbar werden - Rückenwind für all jene, die sich für eine ernst gemeinte Inter- und Transdisziplinarität einsetzen.

    Abstract: Der inklusive Freiwilligendienst weltwärts ist eine privilegierte Form der räumlichen Bewegung, die jedoch migrationsgesellschaftliche Differenz hervorbringen kann. Manuel Peters erkundet aus migrationspädagogischer und rassismuskritischer Perspektive die komplexen Aneignungsweisen rassifizierter Ordnungen. Mithilfe postkolonialer, macht- und rassismusanalytischer sowie bildungstheoretischer Ansätze zeigt er, wie Aneignungsweisen als spezifische, interaktiv hervorgebrachte und (global-)gesellschaftlich verortete Subjektivierungspraktiken bzw. Bildungsprozesse rekonstruiert werden können. Die weltwärts-Mobilität kann somit als bedeutsamer - postkolonialer - Zugehörigkeitskontext gedeutet werden, in dem sich vorherrschende Differenzordnungen der Migrationsgesellschaft aktualisieren

    Abstract: Teaching and learning international survey (TALIS) asks a representative sample of teachers and schools in each country about their working conditions and the learning environments. TALIS aims to provide valid, timely and comparable information on education resources to help countries review and define policies for developing a high-quality teaching profession. It is an opportunity for teachers and school leaders to provide input into educational policy analysis and development in key areas. Lower secondary teachers and leaders of schools in 200 schools per country/economy were randomly selected (20 teachers and 1 school leader per school). Some 107 000 lower secondary teachers responded to the survey, representing more than 4 million teachers in over 30 participating countries and economies. TALIS averages are based on all countries participating in the TALIS survey, including partner countries and economies. This explains the difference between the OECD average and the TALIS average.
