    Abstract: Es werden die hydraulische Einrichtung und die Tätigkeit in einer im Gemeinbesitz befindlichen, bäuerlichen Turbinenmühle (Peltontyp) veranschaulicht. Ein Mitbesitzer wird von seinem Eintreffen in der Mühle bis zu seinem Abgang beim Mahlen von Mais beobachtet.
    Abstract: The film shows the work in a bucket watermill in Rudaria. The work is carried out in the following sequence: readjustment of the sluice board and starting up of the mill, filling the corn into the hopper, lifting the runner with the aid of a lifting device and adjusting the milling course; after conclucing the milling shovelling the flour out, cleaning the place and the stones, removing the unground corn grains from the hopper.

    Abstract: Eine Tanzgruppe der sächsischen Minderheit (8 Jungen, 8 Mädchen) zeigt vier Paartänze: Ländler, Spinnrad, Tätscher und Walzer. Zum Tanz spielt das Gemeindeorchester (Akkordeon, Flügelhorn, Baßflügelhorn, Klarinette, Schlagzeug).
    Abstract: The film shows four Saxon folk dances (Ländler, country waltz; Spinnradel, spinning wheel; Tätscher, patting dance; Walzer, waltz) from the parish Großau on the Zibin, performed by eight young couples in the yard of the old parish school. The musical accompaniment is given by the parish orchester with accordion, flügel horn, bass flügel horn, clarinet and prercussion instruments.

    Abstract: Die geseihte Schafmilch wird mit Lab versetzt und die geronnene Masse, nach mehrmaligem Zerschneiden, durch Pressen und Beschweren von der Molke befreit. Der in Stücke geschnittene Käse kommt in Salzwasser, wird dann in Holzbütten gelegt und reihenweise mit Salz bestreut. Wenn keine Molke mehr austritt, werden die Deckel und Reifen der Bütten festgehämmert, und Salzlösung wird nachgefüllt.
    Abstract: The film shows the production of telemea-cheese in an Alpine chalet on a spring Alpine pasture in the Cibin mountains. Rennet is added to the strained milk. The whey is separated from the curdled mass by pressing. The cheese mass, cut into pieces, is put into a salt water solution. After an approximately four hour treatment the pieces of cheese are laid in rows in a wooden vat and each layer is strewn with salt. After about three days the lid is made fast and the vat is filled with salt water up to the brim through an opening in the lid.

    Abstract: Das Verdichten der Wolldecken erfolgt im Wirbelkorb, in dem ein starker Wasserstrahl das Gewebe in ständiger Bewegung hält. Nach dem Trocknen kommen die Decken zum Aufflauschen in die Rauftrommel, dann in die Rumpeltrommel, wo sie mit warmem Wasser behandelt werden. Beide Trommeln werden mit einem unterschlächtigen Schaufelrad betrieben. Nach einem kurzen Ausspülen im Wirbelkorb werden die Decken zum Trocknen aufgehängt.
    Abstract: The film shows how woollen blankets are laid in a whirling basket to be soaked, they are later taken out and hung up to dry. In the next operation the blankets are stretched over a drum. When the drum is turned the blankets are dragged lightly over a bed of nails, and thus roughened. After being treated once more in the whirling basket, the blankets are laid in a tumbling drum. In this work phase, which can last from 14 - 24 hours, the desired compressing of the woven structure takes place. After a short rinse in the whirling basket the blankets are hung up to dry.

    Abstract: After showing the supply of water, the starting up of the water wheel and the mechanism of the fulling, the material is laid in the fulling trough, the pestle is switched on, cold and then warm water is added, the material is taken out and hung up to dry. The film ends with the storing of the cloth in a store-room.

    Abstract: Senner und Sennerin fangen die aus der Strunga herauskommenden Schafe ab und melken sie. In der Sennhütte füllt die Sennerin die Milch in Holzmulden, sahnt sie später ab und gießt die Sahne in das Butterfaß. Die geschlagene Butter wird gewaschen, gesalzen, geknetet und in ein Fäßchen gefüllt.
    Abstract: The sheep are driven out of an enclosure on the pasture. Left and right of the exit sit the dairy lad and the maid who catch the sheep and milk them. The milk is poured into troughs in the dairy hut. After creaming it, the butter is beaten in a butter cask and then filled into a small barrel to be preserved.
