Ausschnitte aus dem letzten Teil einer dreiteiligen gemeinsamen Totengedenkfeier, die alljährlich zwischen Ostern und Ende Oktober stattfindet. Der abschließende Teil wird am 24. und 25. Oktober mit Festessen und Maskenumzug begangen.
Abstract:
The film shows sequences of the commemorative festivities in Desa, the last part of a Rumanian national custom carried out in three parts. At Easter it begins with the offering of the sarindar and in September the second part, a water ceremony, takes place. The commemorative festivities end on the 24th and 25th October with a banquet and a mask procession.
