Männer und Frauen tanzen Paartänze in beschleunigtem Tempo in Halbkreisform sowie in mäßigem Tempo in Kreisform. Zu den Tänzen spielt ein Klarinettist auf.
Abstract:
The film shows the dances Zaluta (little chain ring) and Hora mare (large circle) from the village Vestem (Sibiu district). The Zaluta is danced in a semi-circle, the dancers holding each other by the shoulders. The movement is carried out to the right or to the left. The tempo is quicker. The Hora mare is danced in a circle. The dancers hold each others hands. The movement is to right or left on command. The tempo is moderate. The dances follow the rhythm of the melody. A clarinetist accompanies the dance.
