Abstract:
The film shows the dances Purtata fetelor (girls' promenade) and Coconita (girl) from the village Blajel (Sibiu district). Purtata fetelor is danced in a circle exclusively by women holding each others' arms. The movement takes place uniformly to the right. The tempo is slow. Coconita is danced in the round exclusively by women holding each others' arms. The movement takes place uniformly to the right. The tempo is slow. The women sing in accompaniment to the dance.
