Abstract:
Eine 64jährige Bäuerin singt ein homophones, lyrisches Heiduckenlied, das zum traditionellen Repertoire des Dorfes gehört. Sie nutzt die Freiheit der Improvisation voll aus.
Abstract:
The film records the singing of a Haiduk song from Cîmpu lui Neag, an old shepherd settlement on the Western Jiu. The singer, Saveta Matei, is a woman farmer, 64 years old and has lived in the village since her marriage. The song recorded belongs to the traditional repertoire of the village and is homophone, like all lyrical songs of Roumania. Its melody structure is strophic. The heroic tone and a certain longing are characteristic of this songs.
