Abstract:
8-12jährige Kinder klatschen, singen und tanzen auf Schulhöfen ihre überlieferten und zugleich abgewandelten Kindertänze und Gesangspiele. Dokumentiert sind Klatschspiele, zwei Abzählverse, mehrere Tänze im Kreis (z. B. das Brückenspiel) sowie Wechselgesänge und Seilspringen.
Abstract:
Eight to twelve year old children clap, sing and dance on their school playgrounds, showing their traditional and adapted children's dances and singing games. The documentary includes clapping games, two counting-out rhymes, several round dances (e. g. the bridge game) as well as antiphonal chants and skipping. (Recorded in Leuven, Brabant, at the Basisschool "De Kraal", Herent, and the Basisschool Lagere en Kleuterschool, Heverlee.)
