22 Reiter und der vorjährige König des Gänsereiter-Clubs von Höntrop reiten Montag nach der Schaugans, dann nach der Königsgans. Das Reiten endet mit dem Sieg eines der Bewerber um die Königswürde. Am Dienstag finden das Wurstsammeln und der Königsball statt.
Abstract:
The riders gather, the king takes the review, the procession moves towards the course in the south park. The first ride is for the "display goose", then for the "king's goose". Riding ends with the victory of one of the candidates for the kingship. On Tuesday the sausage collection takes place. Goose riders advance towards the houses of certain club members accompanied by music, and collect the sausages. In the evening, once the orchestra, sausage gatherers and royal couples have come into the festivity hall, the royal ball begins.
