Das Positionsspiel Fuchs und Henne zwischen einem Bauern und einem Hirtenjungen endet nach 111 Zügen mit dem Sieg des Bauern. Gespielt wurde in der Hütte der Ragotzalm (St. Magdalena, Gsiestal).
Abstract:
The game "Fox and Hen", which requires the faculty of combinatorial thinking, is known in St. Magdalena (Gsies Valley) from time immemorial. The square board and the 22 wooden pieces are manufactured by the people themselves. Holes are made in the board so that the game may be played even in the open air, on an uneven ground.
