Die Analyse der sozialen Lage von eingebürgerten Deutschen afrikanischer Herkunft schließt eine Forschungslücke. Die empirische Untersuchung mit Hilfe qualitativer Interviews bietet daher wichtige Erkenntnisse nicht nur für die Sozialwissenschaft, sondern auch für Praktiker*innen in der Integrationspolitik.
