    Kurzfassung: Los Principios de Gobierno Corporativo de la OCDE fueron emitidos en 1999, desde entonces, han ganado reconocimiento mundial como un estándar de comparación internacional para el buen gobierno corporativo. Son usados activamente por los gobiernos, los reguladores, los inversores, empresas y otros interesados tanto en países miembros de la OCDE como en otros no-miembros, y han sido adoptados por el Foro sobre Estabilidad Financiera como una de las Doce Normas Fundamentales para garantizar sistemas financieros sanos. La finalidad de los Principios es la de ayudar en la tarea de evaluar y perfeccionar los marcos legal, institucional y reglamentario aplicables al gobierno corporativo. También ofrecen orientación y sugerencias a las Bolsas de valores, los inversores, las empresas, y demás partes que intervienen en el proceso de desarrollo de un buen gobierno corporativo.Los Principios deben ser vistos como un instrumento vivo. La versión revisada toma en cuenta los desarrollos desde 1999 e incorpora varias modificaciones importantes. La revisión se ha visto beneficiada ampliamente de la extensa consulta pública realizada. La versión revisada de los Principios de la OCDE fueron acordados por los países miembros de la OCDE el 22 de abril de 2004.

    Kurzfassung: Drawing on data from the OECD’s Programme for International Students Assessment (PISA), this report examines the performance of students with immigrant backgrounds and compares it to that of their native counterparts. As well as providing information on countries’ approaches to the integration of immigrants, it looks at other factors that could influence immigrant students’ performance – such as their attitudes to school, their motivation and learning strategies as well as their social background and the language spoken at home – giving valuable implications for educational policy.

    Kurzfassung: This study features a collection of eight case studies of exemplary cases from secondary schools as well as international literature reviews and policy analysis related to formative assessment – the frequent assessments of student progress to identify learning needs and shape teaching. It examines such issues as benefits and barriers for using formative assessment, policy frameworks and implications, and formative assessment in practice. Achievement gains attributed to formative assessment are reported as being quite high, but it is not yet practiced systematically. This book makes the case for use of formative assessment and shows how it can be put into practice.

It includes a re-developed and expanded framework for scientific literacy, an innovative component on the assessment of students’ attitudes to science and the frameworks for the assessment of reading and mathematics. Within each domain, the framework defines the content that students need to acquire, the processes that need to be performed, and the contexts in which knowledge and skills are applied. The domains and their aspects are also illustrated with sample tasks.

More specifically, the countries’ efforts focus on the objective of widening access to quality education and ensuring equal opportunities for all. The respective country reports are supplemented by a general overview on the situation of special needs education in South Eastern Europe.

IKT ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Politikagenda der OECD-Länder mit tiefgreifenden Auswirkungen für die Bildung, einmal weil IKT neue Formen des Lernens erleichtern kann und zum anderen weil es für junge Menschen im Hinblick auf ihr späteres Leben heute unerlässlich ist, IKT zu beherrschen. Aber in welchem Maße haben die Schüler Zugang zu IKT im schulischen und außerschulischen Bereich und wie machen sie davon Gebrauch?Der Bericht untersucht folgende Aspekte: Die Frage, ob der Zugang, den die Schüler zu Computern haben, im Ländervergleich und zwischen verschiedenen Schülergruppen gleichmäßig verteilt ist.     Kurzfassung: Turkish domestic equity markets and inward foreign investment are poised to grow rapdily but only if corporate governance standards are high enough to protect minority shareholders. This report evaluates the extent to which the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance have been implemented in Turkey, looking at both the legal and regulatory framework as well as company practices. It finds that significant reforms to the corporate governance framework have already been introduced, and supports additional legislative reforms that are already in progress. Looking ahead, the report argues that it is time to move into the next important phase in policy reform, and makes a series of recommendations for further strengthening Turkeys corporate governance structures.
