Abstract:
Gewehrschüsse verkünden den Tod eines Menschen. Während das Grab ausgehoben wird, verabschieden sich die Familienmitglieder von dem Toten, indem sie den Leichnam mit Rotholzpulver einreiben. Vor der eigentlichen Beisetzung finden sich die Läufermasken als Vertreter der Maskengesellschaften ein, um sich von dem Toten zu verabschieden. Nach der Beisetzung - der Tote ruht in einer seitlichen Grube, am Boden des Grabes - beginnen im Grab die Tänze, während dieses wieder mit Erde gefüllt wird. Zum Abschluß der Beisetzung spielt die Militärgesellschaft ihre zum Teil geheimen Instrumente.
Abstract:
Gunshots announce a person's death. While the grave is dug the members of the family take their leave of the deceased by rubbing his body with camwood powder. Before the interment takes place, the running masks arrive as representatives of the mask society to take their leave of the deceased. After the interment - the body rests in a lateral chamber, at the bottom of the grave - dancing begins in the grave while the earth is replaced. At the conclusion of the burial the military society play their secret instruments.
