Abstract:
Araminsa, ein Mann mittleren Alters aus Palimbei, fertigt aus dem dünneren Abschnitt einer Sagopalmblattrippe ein Chordophon mit einer über einen Steg gespannten, stammeigenen Saite an. Er stimmt das Instrument und spielt zwei Musikstücke darauf, wobei Kopf- und Mundhöhle für das an die Zähne gelehnte Instrument als Resonanzkörper dienen.
Abstract:
Araminsa, a middle aged man of the village Palimbei, makes a chordophone from the stem of a sago frond. He tunes the instrument and plays two pieces. He holds the instrument to his open mouth. The mouth cavity allows amplification of the tone.
