Abstract:
Ein G/wi-Buschmann schneidet aus Zweigen zwei etwa 30 cm lange Stäbchen und einen kleineren, etwa 5 cm langen Stab. Die Hölzer werden entrindet, dekoriert, eingefettet und geschwärzt. Abschließend werden sie auf einen Sehnenfaden aufgefädelt bzw. angebunden und können nun von der Tochter als eine Art Kette getragen werden.
Abstract:
A Bushman cuts from branches two sticks 30 cm long and one stick 5 cm long. He removes the bark, decorates the sticks, smears them with fat and blackens them. The sticks are tied one after another to a piece of sinew and so will be used by the man's daughter to perform her tasks in the ceremony of initiation. After the initiation, the girl will wear them as a kind of necklace.
