Abstract:
Eine Buschmanngruppe zieht mit ihrer Habe zu einem neuen Wohnplatz. Dort angekommen, sammelt sie Bau- und Feuerholz, baut Schlafplätze und Windschirme. Der Älteste entzündet ein Feuer, von dem alle anderen Feuer nehmen. Später treffen die Jäger mit ihrer Beute ein.
Abstract:
An elder and his wife pack the last of their belongings, rise and join the other villagers in readiness for departure. In a straight line women, children, and old men depart while the men hive off to one side to hunt. Small children are carried in satchels, older ones walk and are later, when tired, carried by their maternal uncles. Along their route the women stop to collect "veld" food. They reach their predetermined site, clear it, collect firewood, arect shelters and sleeping nests. The patriarch builds a fire from which all the others are lit. The hunters arrive later to a place worthy of human habitation.
