Abstract:
Frauen bewegen sich singend und händeklatschend im Kreis. Eine nach der anderen springt rasch nach vorne, um eine Melone aufzufangen, die ihr die vorangehende Frau zuwirft, und gibt sie dann unter dem Arm hindurch an die Frau hinter ihr weiter. =e A group of singing and clapping women, arranged in a circle, are playing the melon game. Each one of them in turn runs forward and passes the melon under her arm to the woman behind. Two rhythmically different games are shown, the latte r giving the participants scope for improvising their own steps.
