Abstract:
Frauen graben Löcher im Kreis in den Boden und befestigen darin lange Aststangen. Zwischen die Äste legen sie kleinere Zweige. Zum Schluß wird das Gerüst mit Grasbüscheln abgedeckt sowie der Hüttenboden gereinigt und geglättet.
Abstract:
Women return to the village with bundles of grass and loads of branches of dead wood. In a circle the women make holes for the long branches with their digging sticks, and at the top incline these towards each other. Then they place numerous smaller branches between this frame-work in such a way that they all support each other. They thatch the frame by covering it with tussocks of grass, starting at the bottom and completing the task at the top. Finally they clean the sand inside the hut and smooth it down to make the hut ready for occupation.
