Abstract:
Ein Mann erklettert mittels eines Gerüsts aus zwei Stangenkreuzen eine Pijiguao-Palme (Guilielma gasipaes) bis zum Fruchtstand, erntet die Büschel mit roten Früchten und läßt sie an einer Liane zu Boden, wo sie von seinem Sohn in Empfang genommen werden.
Abstract:
To avoid hurting himself by the thorny stem, a Waika man climbs a pijiguao-palm tree by means of a framework consisting of two wooden crosses which he displaces until he reches the fruits at the top of the palm-tree. He passes down the fruits in bunches by means of a liana which is received on the ground by his small son.
