Abstract:
The film about the manufacture of coloured pottery (Hafner ware) at Soufflenheim presents not only the shaping and the decorating of the pots but the whole making process carried out in three principal stages: shaping of the clay on the wheel and in moulds; grounding, decorating, and glazing; baking of the pots in a gas oven.
