Abstract:
Am Samstag vor Invokavit wird am Berg der Holzstoß aufgeschichtet sowie das Rad ausgestopft. Sonntagabend nach einem Gebet und dreimaligem Umschreiten wird der Holzstoß angezündet. Im Feuer werden die Holzscheiben zum Glühen gebracht und, von einem Spruch begleitet, mit Hilfe einer Rute in Richtung des Dorfes geschleudert. Das mit Stroh ausgestopfte Rad wird angezündet und den Hang hinuntergerollt. Anschließend Heischegang. Brauchträger sind junge Burschen.
Abstract:
On Saturday before Invocavit the lads prepare the bonfire and stuff the wheel with straw. On Sunday evening, after a prayer, they walk round the bonfire three times, then set light to it. Wooden discs are put into the fire until they glow. Then, accompanied with a saying, they are thrown down with the help of a stick in the direction of the village. The wheel stuffed with straw is set on fire and rolled down the hillside. Afterwards gift asking procession.
