Abstract:
Auf einer Alm im Pinzgau wird Milch entrahmt. Die Sahne wird in einem wassergetriebenen Butterfaß vor der Almhütte zu Butter geschleudert. Man formt große Butterlaibe für die Ablieferung ins Tal und kleine Stücke für den täglichen Bedarf auf der Alm.
Abstract:
Milk is skimmed in the hut of an alpine meadow (alp) in the Pinzgau. The cream is churned into butter in a water-driven churn in front of the hut. Large cakes of butter are formed for delivery in the valley, and small pieces for daily use on the alp.
