Abstract:
Herstellen eines vertrauensvollen Arzt-Patienten-Verhältnisses durch Auffinden von versteckten Münzen. Divinationstanz. Diagnosestellung durch hellsehendes Fragespiel, Tanz und Orakel. Abschließend eine demonstrative Heilbehandlung durch Bestreichen des Körpers und seines Schattens, Benetzen mit öliger Flüssigkeit und Einritzen der Haut.
Abstract:
By means of a question-and-answer procedure the medicine-man and his assistant find coins previously hidden in the clothing of the patient, thus demonstrating their extraordinary capabilities and establishing a doctor-patient relationship full of confidence. The dance which follows serves the same purpose. The diagnosis is carried out by means of a clairvoyant question-and-answer procedure, dancing, and oracles. Finally the treatment of a case in shown, with stroking of the patient's body and shadow, wetting with an oily liquid, and scratching of the skin.
