Abstract:
Während einer mehrtägigen Feier tanzen Männer und Frauen untergefaßt einen Kreistanz um ein Mais- und Zuckerrohrstaudengerüst, wobei sie von einem Zeremonienmeister sowie Mayordomos mit Jägern, Gehilfen und Musikern mit Bambusflöten, Hirschschädeln und Kürbisrasseln begleitet werden.
Abstract:
At the time of the maize harvest the Ayaman are celebrating the great Tura together with the mestizo population. The feast lasts several days and takes sugar cane stalks. At the dance participate the master of the ceremony, the leaders of local groups with their hunters, assistants and musicians who are playing on their instruments (tura-bamboo-flutes, deer-skulls and rattles).
