Abstract:
Eine Frau nimmt Abschied von einem von ihr aufgezogenen Schwein, das für ein Totenfest getötet wurde. Sie setzt sich auf das Tier und trauert. Ein Mann reibt Sago auf die Haut des Schweines und schlägt mit einer Palmblattrippe auf den Erdboden. Das Schwein wird an einem Stock festgebunden und in das Dorf getragen.
Abstract:
Four men bring a killed domestic pig to the hamlet Alembe. The woman who cared for the pig sits on the dead animal and mourns. Her husband's brother rubs sago on the skin of the pig and beats with the rib of a palm leaf on the ground. The pig is tied to a stick and is carried to the village where a mortuary ceremony is celebrated for four deceased people.
