Abstract:
Drei Männer demonstrieren auf Wunsch, wie eine Cordyline, für die Eipo eine sakrale Pflanze, am Männerhaus in Dingerkon gepflanzt wird. Bei dem Ritus handelt es sich um eine symbolische Wiederholung des Schöpfungsvorganges. Da die Eipo nicht gewohnt sind, Rituale vorzuführen, überspielen sie ihre Verlegenheit durch Lachen und Albern.
Abstract:
The ritual planting of the sacred Cordyline is enacted by three men. The performance repeats the myth of creation. For the Eipo are not used to perform their rituals they conceal their embarrassment with laughing and simpering.
