Abstract:
Jada, granddaughter of Tabema from Amani in the cliffs of Bandiagara, prepares a millet dish for her grandfather as a midday meal. In the crushed millet she mixes the brew of baobab pulp and water, mashes, filters and mixes the dish several times until it has become a viscous mass. Then she takes it to her grandfather.
