Abstract:
Der Töpfer treibt einen Lehmklumpen über eine angestaubte Kalotte. Nach kurzem Abtrocknen wird der Gefäßteil auf einer Töpferscheibe weiterbearbeitet. Tonwülste werden darübergelegt und miteinander verschmiert. Ehe zwei Henkel aus Tonwülsten aufgesetzt werden, glättet und verziert der Töpfer die von neuem angefeuchtete Oberfläche des Gefäßes mit einem Bambusstäbchen.
Abstract:
The potter drives a lump of clay over a dusty calotte. After a short drying period the part of the receptacle is worked further on the potter's wheel. Clay lumps are placed over this and they are smeared together. Before two handles formed from lumps of clay are set, the potter smooths and decorates the redampened surface of the receptacle with a bamboo stick.
