Abstract:
Ausschnitte aus den zum letzten Mal ausgeführten Totenkulttänzen des damals noch freilebenden Reststammes der Umutina. Die Maskentänzer, die die Seelen verstorbener Verwandter verkörpern, sind immer Männer und werden von Frauen nur begleitet. Gezeigt werden der Bakurétanz (Flagelliertanz des Waldhundes), der Hatóri-Großmaskentanz und der Arischinótanz.
Abstract:
Extracts of last death cult dances performed by still free-living survivors of the Umutima people. Mask dancers, embodying souls of deceased relatives, are always male. They are accompanied by women. "Bakure" dance (flagellating dance of "forest dog"), "Hatori" dance of great masks and "Arischino" dance are shown.
