Eine Frau aus Huye Luang richtet eine Webkette mit Hilfe eines senkrechten Schärrahmens und von in den Boden eingesetzten Schärpflöcken ein. Anschließend zieht sie die geraden Kettfäden in die Litzen des Litzenstabes.
Abstract:
With a rope ten loops are made on a bamboo frame. Ten hemp threads are then drawn through these loops. Five short wooden pins are driven into the ground, and around these the warp threads are wound. The warp is then threaded through the reed. The loops for the heddle rod are made with threads of their own. The finished warp is wound on the warp beam and carried to the loom.
