Abstract:
An endless warp is wound around six thread-beams which are stuck in the ground; the lease is formed, the heddle set in, and a separating roll is slung into the warp. The finished warp is strung between a warp-beam and a breast-beam which is fixed to the body of the weaver. A sword is used when weaving to tighten the weft and to increase the shed which is formed by the rising and falling of the heddle.
