Abstract:
Befestigen einiger Fasern am Haken der Spindelspitze, Herstellung kurzer Fadenlängen durch Drehungen der Spindel, Abrollen der Spindel auf dem Oberschenkel und freie Rotation am Faden, mit den Fingern kontinuierliches Nachziehen von Fasern und deren Verdrehung durch die rotierende Spindel, Aufwickeln fertig gesponnener Fadenlängen auf die Spindel. Die Arbeiten werden von einem Mädchen aus Ban Alm ausgeführt.
Abstract:
The spinner holds a spinning roll in her left hand, fixes a few fibres into the hook of the spindle point and makes a short thread by rotating the spindle in her hand. After this, she rolls the spindle on her tigh and lets it rotate freely on the thread. She continually draws out fibres and twists them by means of the rotating spindle. When the thread is spun it is spun it is wound on the spindle.
