Abstract:
Das erste und bedeutendste der alljährlichen Totengedenkfeste im Königreich Oku ist die vom Palast veranstaltete Zeremonie. Nach den Auftritten der Geheimgesellschaft Kwifon tritt Chong auf, eine Gesellschaft, die für ihre Musikinstrumente bekannt ist. Die Frauen in Oku sind in der Fimbien-Gesellschaft organisiert. Die Königsfrauen treten als Fimbien-Gruppe vor dem Palast auf und tanzen.
Abstract:
The first and most important of the annual feasts in Oku commemorating the deceased is the ceremony organized by the Royal Palace. Following the activities of the secret society Kwifon, Chong appears, a society well-known for its musical instruments. Then the wives of the king of Oku, organized as members of Fimbien, the women's society, appear in front of the palace and perform dances.
