Abstract:
Sechs Musiker spielen auf dem zur Zeremonialmusik gehörenden Instrumentensatz Gonrang bolon (großer Gonrang), bestehend aus einer Sarunei (Oboe), sechs Trommeln und vier Gongs. Das erste Stück gehört zum Repertoire der "fröhlichen" Feste (z. B. Hochzeit), während das zweite bei Totenfeiern gespielt wird.
Abstract:
Six musicians play on the Gonrang bolon (large Gonrang) instrumentation, which is used for ceremonial music, a Sarunei (oboe); six drums and four gongs. The first piece belongs to the repertoir of "happy" festivals (e.g. wedding); whereas the second one is played at obsequies (funeral rites).
