Abstract:
Ein in ganz Ladakh bekannter Orakelpriester versetzt sich in Trance und behandelt einen älteren Mann mit einem Beinleiden. Diagnose und Behandlungsmethode liest er von einem Trommelorakel ab. Mit einem Röhrchen saugt er Krankheitsstoffe aus dem Bauch des Patienten. Anschließend wird er von einer jungen Europäerin wegen Magenbeschwerden konsultiert. Schließlich erwacht er aus der Trance.
Abstract:
A oracle priest, who is well known in all of Ladakh, sets himself in a trance and treats an old man with a leg complaint. He reads the diagnosis and treatment method from a drum oracle. He sucks morbid matter out of the patient's abdomen with a small tube. Subsequently, he is consulted by a young European woman because of stomach complaints. Finally, he awakes from his trance.
