How do digitalization, the vast circulation of people and things, and the increased interconnection of places across great distances—due to globalization and transnationalization—change our understandings of space and our actions in everyday spaces? Scholars from the fields of sociology, geography, cultural and media studies, urban planning, architecture, and art explore this vital and contemporary question in this unique collaboration. Wie verandern die Digitalisierung, die enorme Zirkulation von Menschen und Dingen sowie die durch Globalisierung und Transnationalisierung verstarkte Verknupfung von Orten uber weite Distanzen hinweg unsere Vorstellungen von Raum und unser Handeln in Alltagsraumen? Wissenschaftler*innen aus Soziologie, Geografie, Kultur- und Medienwissenschaften, Stadtplanung, Architektur und Kunst sind dieser fur unsere Zeit wesentlichen Frage im Rahmen einer einzigartigen Kollaboration nachgegangen.
