Abstract:
Eine alte Frau bringt Ton, magert ihn mit zerstoßener, verkohlter Borke, formt eine flache Bodenscheibe und in Parallelwulsttechnik die Wände, die sie mit angefeuchteten Händen und einer Baumfrucht glattstreicht. Nach dem Trocknen und Brennen im Brennhaufen bestreicht sie die noch warmen Gefäße mit Kopal und malt mit Urucú ein rotes Zickzackband auf.
Abstract:
An old woman mixes clay with crushed charcoal made from bark, she forms a flat bottom and coils the sides, which are smoothed by hand and using the fruit of a tree. After pitfiring she coats the still warm pots with copal (resin) and paints a zig-zag decoration.
