    Abstract: Am Ende des Schuljahres versammeln sich die Schüler mit zwei Fahnen, Armbrüsten und hölzernen Vögeln und ziehen unter Musikbegleitung durch die Stadt. Am Festplatz werden die hölzernen Vögel aufgestellt. Die Jungen der Mittel- und Oberstufen schießen mit der Armbrust nach dem Vogel. Wer ein Teil des Vogels heruntergeschossen hat, erhält dies als Trophäe. Der zum Schluß ermittelte Sieger wird von seinen Kameraden auf die Schulter genommen.
    Abstract: At the close of the school year the pupils gather with two flags, crossbows and wooden birds, and form a procession through the town with accompanying music. The wooden birds are set up on the festive square. Anyone who shoots down a part of the bird with the bolt (the crossbow projectile), receives it as a trophy. When the winner has been found, he is lifted on to the shoulders of his comrades.

Versammlung der Reiter auf dem Hof des vorjährigen Königs; Ringstechen: Zielen mit einem kurzen, eisernen Stecher nach einem in 2,5 m Höhe an einer Schnur aufgehängten Ring; Rolandreiten: eine über 2 m hohe Holzfigur muß getroffen und in Drehung versetzt werden; Siegerehrung: der Erfolgreichste wird König (Königskette).
    Abstract: Annual event of the horsemen's club in July: meeting of the horsemen on the court of their last year's king; tilting at the ring: aiming with a short iron stabber at a ring fixed at a cord in 2,5 m height; Roland riding: a wooden figure of 2 m height must be hit and put into rotation; awards ceremony: the winner is declared king.

    Abstract: Wettkampf um den längsten Wurf einer mit Blei eingelegten Holzkugel von 100, 250 oder 500 g Gewicht, veranstaltet vom Verband der Schleswig-Holsteinischen Boßler am 14.2.1965. Zwei Arten werden gezeigt: das Feldboßeln und das Standboßeln.
    Abstract: "Bosseln" is a competitive sport in which individuals and teams try to make the longest throw. Wooden balls inlaid with lead, and weighing 100, 250 or 500 grammes are thrown. Two types of "Bosseln" are shown in the film "Feldbosseln" (from the point of fall) and "Standbosseln" (from a fixed point).

    Abstract: Das Scheibenschießen der 1541 gegründeten Brand- und Schützengilde findet jährlich unter großer Anteilnahme der Bevölkerung statt. Das Fest gliedert sich wie folgt: Silberputzen und Säbelaustragen, Kranzbinden und Einladung zum Fest, Fahnenschwenken, Scheibenschießen und Proklamation des neuen Königs, Königstafel.
    Abstract: The target practice of the riflemen's association founded in 1541 is celebrated every year with broad public resonance. The order of events is: silver polishing, presentation of sabres, wreath making and invitation to the festival, flag throwing, target shooting, and proclamation of the new king, king's dinner.

Vier Fahnenschwenker führen vor dem Rathaus mit den Fahnen folgende Figuren und Fahnenwürfe durch: Begrüßung, einfaches Kreisschlagen, Waage, Zitronenwurf, Handwechsel, Fußwurf, Radschlagen, Sprung über die Fahne, Schulterwurf, Wendungen in der Spreizstellung, Hochwurf.
    Abstract: Annual flag throwing performance of the local riflemen's league founded in 1541. Four flag throwers perform different figures in front of the townhall.
