Abstract:
Die Zeremonie (wörtlich übersetzt: 'Reis auf den Kopf legen') wird begangen, wenn jemand wieder in die Gemeinschaft aufgenommen wird. Frau Ginting wird nach einem Krankenhausaufenthalt von Angehörigen am Dorfende empfangen. Nach Segenswünschen werden sie und ihr Ehemann mit Goldschmuck und Zeremonialtüchern geschmückt. Begleitet von Gendang-Musik werden sie zum Haus der Familie geführt. Die Guro Sibaso locken die Lebenskraft (Tendi) zur Stärkung der Frau mit weißen Tüchern an. Auf dem Tanzplatz werden Adat-Tänze getanzt. Mit einem gemeinsamen Essen wird der zeremonielle Teil des Festes abgeschlossen.
Abstract:
The ceremony (literally translated: 'to put rice on the head') is performed at a person's returning to a community. Mrs. Ginting, returning from hospital, is received by her relatives on the border of the village. Blessings are pronounced and she and her husband are decorated with gold jewellery and ceremonial cloths. Accompanied by gendang music, they are conducted to the family's house. The guru sibaso attract with white cloths the vital power (tendi) to strengthen the woman. Adat dances are performed on the dancing-ground. A common meal concludes the ceremonial part of the feast.
