    Abstract: Am Samstag vor Invokavit wird am Berg der Holzstoß aufgeschichtet sowie das Rad ausgestopft. Sonntagabend nach einem Gebet und dreimaligem Umschreiten wird der Holzstoß angezündet. Im Feuer werden die Holzscheiben zum Glühen gebracht und, von einem Spruch begleitet, mit Hilfe einer Rute in Richtung des Dorfes geschleudert. Das mit Stroh ausgestopfte Rad wird angezündet und den Hang hinuntergerollt. Anschließend Heischegang. Brauchträger sind junge Burschen.
    Abstract: On Saturday before Invocavit the lads prepare the bonfire and stuff the wheel with straw. On Sunday evening, after a prayer, they walk round the bonfire three times, then set light to it. Wooden discs are put into the fire until they glow. Then, accompanied with a saying, they are thrown down with the help of a stick in the direction of the village. The wheel stuffed with straw is set on fire and rolled down the hillside. Afterwards gift asking procession.

    Abstract: Eine Frau überträgt eine Zeichnung auf Pappe und sticht sie mit Stecheisen aus. Auf Stickrahmen wird das Arbeitsstück und darauf die angestochene Zeichnung befestigt. Das so vorgegebene Muster wird in der Sprengtechnik mit Goldfaden überstickt. Die fertige Stickerei (ein schwarzes Samtmieder) wird auf der Unterseite mit dem Hammer geklopft und mit Stärke gesteift.
    Abstract: A woman transfers a design to a piece of pasteboard and pricks it out with a punch. The fabric is then mounted into a frame and the pasteboard pattern on to it. The design is embroidered with gold thread in couching or laid work. The finished embroi-dery (a black velvet bodice) is beaten with a hammer on the reverse side and stiffened with starch.

    Abstract: Als Ersatz für die schweigenden Glocken ziehen die Rätschebuben durch die Straßen, um die Bevölkerung zur Kirche zu rufen. Auf einem Heischegang erhalten sie Gaben, wobei sie Sprüche aufsagen.
    Abstract: According to ancient Christian use the bells are not rung the last days of Holy Week. Assuming the function of the bells, the Rätschebuben (rattling boys) at Ebnet pass through the streets rattling before each mass, in order to call the population to church. As a reward for their rattling and for their serving as an altar boy the boys receive gifts on a procession, at which they recite certain verses.

    Abstract: On Whit Sunday a group of six boys go from farm to farm, reciting their rhymed wishes for a blessing. After the recitation, the boys receive the hopitality of the inhabitans. Before leaving, they are given money by the farmer, and eggs by his wife. On leaving the farm they are ragged by the children who stand at the entrance.
