    Abstract: Members of the Jyapu caste who have been combined in a musical organization, play a secular song in a non-religious instrumental arrangement. A dancer improvises movements to it according to the typical repertoire of expressions of the men's dance of the Nevari.

    Abstract: A sacrificial animal is chosen, ritually killed and immolated. The bride places on her head decoration and is then ritually washed and arrayed. Detailed excerpts of the wedding dance are shown. Through knocking appart of the entwined hands the marriage of officially performed.

    Abstract: Musiker in Katmandu spielen sitzend die Klappertrommeln. Das Instrument wird paarweise durch rhythmisches Drehen gespielt, wobei kleine Klöppel gegen die Trommelfelle schlagen. Durch Ziehen und Lockern der Spannschnüre wird die Tonhöhe während des Spielens variiert.
    Abstract: The rattle drums dabadaba are played in pairs. Through rhythmical rotation the small clapprs are beaten against the drum skin. The skins are tautened with cords. By tightening and loosening of these cords the pitch of each drum can be altered during playing.
