Abstract:
Abstract:
A storage basket for rice, composed of two parts, is made by the coiling method. The lid covering the basket is built up, too, to the size of a basket. The materials used are the blades of a long, rigid grass and the ribs of oil-palm leaves. The parts of the basket are sewn together, decorated and tied up with cords obtained from the fibres of a stalky, flexible plant.
