Abstract:
Das Einkommensgefälle zwischen Stadt und Land in der Provinz Yunnan ist gewaltig, was eine wachsende Migration in die Hauptstadt Kunming auslöst. Mit ihren selbstgebauten Handkarren sind die Straßenhändler eine Gefahr für das Stadtbild. Sie selbst würden es begrüßen, wenn es klare Regelungen gäbe, wo sie ihr Essen verkaufen dürfen und so ihr Auskommen hätten.
Abstract:
The income gap between rural and urban communities is extreme, and in Yunnan Province causes growing migration to its capital Kunming. With their home-made pushcarts street peddlers are considered a threat to the city's image building. Constantly on the run, the peddlers themselves would prefer clear regulations allowing a space for them to sell their food, and have an income.
