Abstract:
Raghvendra Chand Singh und Tejendra Tamraker reisen zum ersten Mal in ihrem Leben nach Deutschland. Sie besuchen einen Bauernhof in der Nähe von Göttingen, um die moderne Milchwirtschaft zu untersuchen. Sie halten den Tagesablauf ihrer Gastgeber mit der Kamera fest und versuchen, die Einstellung der Bauern zu ihren Tieren zu verstehen. Da sie aus Indien kommen, haben sie eine ganz andere Vorstellung davon, wie man über Kühe denken und mit ihnen umgehen sollte.
Abstract:
Raghvendra Chand Singh and Tejendra Tamraker travel to Germany for the first time in their lives. They visit a farm near Göttingen to explore modern-day dairy-farming. They capture the daily routines of their hosts on camera, trying to understand the latter's attitude towards their livestock. Being from India they are used to quite different notions of how one should think of and deal with cows.
