    Abstract: Anläßlich des 10jährigen Bestandesjubiläums des Flößermuseums Weyer-Kastenreith wird die Herstellung eines Ennsfloßes nach überlieferter Methode von der Schlägerung über die Holzbringung bis zum Bau des Floßes selbst sowie die Floßfahrt dargestellt.
    Abstract: In 1985 the Museum of Rafts at Weyer celebrates its tenth anniversary. On this occasion an Enns raft is built by the traditional method from pine trunks. Former raftsmen and woodcutters show for the last time their ability. The film presents all the stages of the work, from the woodcutting, disbranching, and decorating over the wood haulage to the fastening together of the trunks.

    Abstract: In einem verschneiten Wald werden Holztransportschlitten von Hunden bergauf gezogen und dort mit Meterscheiten quer zur Fahrtrichtung beladen. Bei der Talfahrt laufen die Hunde frei hinter den von Holzarbeitern gelenkten Schlitten her. Auf ebener Strecke ziehen Mann und Hund gemeinsam.
    Abstract: In a snowed-up forest of the Mühlviertel sledges for the transport of wood are being pulled uphill by dogs. Having arrived at the working place, the sledges are loaded with timber. On their way back at the steep slopes the dogs are running at large behind the quickly gliding sledges, driven by the woodworkes. On an even path the sledge is drawn by both, man and dog.
