Abstract:
Der Film entstand im indonesischen Bergregenwald Ostsulawesis bei der kleinen Ethnie der Wana Wewaju. Er dokumentiert die Praktiken der Schamanen, die ihre magisch-religiöse Heilkunde ausüben, die von der modernen Medizin unberührt geblieben ist. (vgl. Film C 13061 "Dieux et Satans")
Abstract:
The small ethnic group of the Wana Wewaju live in Indonesia in the eastern part of Sulawesi (Celebes Island) among the dense equatorial rain forest of the Tokkala Mountains. The film documents the traditional healing practices of the Wana shamans. (see also film C 13061 "Dieux et Satans")
